INDUSTRIAL  HYDRAULIC  OILS

Agip OSO

Spesification
AGIP OSO products meet requirements of the following specifications :

  • DIN 51524 TEIL 2 HLP
  • AFNOR NF E 48603 HM
  • CETOP RP 91 H HM
  • DENISON HF-0
  • VDMA 24318
  • BS 4231 HSD
  • ISO-L-HM
Description

  • The oils are designed for energy transmission in plants requiring the use of a hydraulic fluid. The oils also provide adequate lubrication by creating a strong lubricant film that withstands high loads between the sliding parts of high-pressure hydraulic systems.
  • AGIP OSO oils have very good anti-wear properties, as illustrated by typical test results :

  1. Vane and ring wear in the Vickers test around 35 mg
  2. The higher grades (OSO 46-150) passes the 12th stage of the FZG test, while the lower grades passes 11th stage.

  • They have extremely good oxidation resistance and stability even when subjected to unusually high thermal stresses, this property minimizes sludge and deposit formation, thus preventing blocking of ports, valves, and controls, while guaranteeing that the oil remains properly fluid.
  • Maintenance costs are therefore reduced and the useful service life of the oil is extended.
  • The high Viscosity index of all grades minimizes changes in viscosity throughout the normal range of operating temperatures, thus ensuring constant flow, low friction loss, and good hydraulic efficiency, while protecting against the possibility of cavitation.
  • Their outstanding anticorrosion  and antirust properties inhibit the oxidation of internal surfaces of hydraulic circuits and therefore prevent operating difficulties and breakdown of the oil caused by metallic oxides that would otherwise form within the machinery.
  • Their good demulsibility prevents the formation of a stable emulsion between the oil and any water that enters the system through leakage or condensation. The fluids therefore maintain their lubricating power and anticorrosion performance even under these circumstances.
  • Their antifoam properties and their ready release of entrained air prevent difficulties with pumps  and controls which can cause irregularities in performance and other problems arising from the compressibility of air bubbles.
  • They show a very high filterability,  they are suitable for very fine filters (3 micron up to ISO VG 68)

Agip ACER

Spesification
AGIP ACER products is approved or meet requirements of the following specifications :

  • ISO-L-HL
  • ISO-L-DAB
  • DIN 51056 VBL
  • DIN 51524 TEIL 1 HL
  • CETOP RP 91H HL
  • DENISON HF 1A
  • BS4231 HSC
  • AFNOR NF E 48603 HL
Description

  • AGIP ACER oils have a high viscosity index which minimizes changes in viscosity and hence in the load bearing capacity of the lubricant film over a wide range of operating
    temperatures.
  • Their outstanding antifoam properties and capacity to release entrained air rapidly ensure excellent incompressibility. This property, which is required by hydraulic fluids, prevents any pumping and circulation troubles, and reduces the rate of thermal and oxidation alteration.
  • All grades have good anti-rust properties and oxidation stability and also aging resistance.
  • All grades posses good water-separability ability and so do not form stable emulsions, with consequent loss of lubricating power

Agip ACER MPK

Spesification
Description
ACER MPK products guarantee very good performance, thanks to their special characteristics:

  1. Good detergency, which ensures that paper fibres that could contaminate the oil, especially in the wet parts of the papermaking machinery, are kept in suspension. Hence, these fibres, together with particles resulting from oxidation, do not form deposits in dead spots of the circuit but are filtered out.

  2. Excellent demulsibility even in the presence of abundant water. This allows any water which accidentally seeps into the lubrication circuit to be rapidly separated from the oil in the tank, thus assuring correct lubrication. This property is demonstrated by the results of the ASTM D1401 test where separation occurs in thirty minutes.

  3. Very good antiwear performance, as demonstrated by the FZG (pass load stage 12) and the Four Ball Wear test (scar diameter less than 0.4 mm); therefore, AGIP ACER MPK can also be used in reduction gears, which permits rationalization of lubricant stocks.

  4. Oxidation resistance obtained by specific additive treatment to guarantee long oil-service life even at high temperatures.

  5. Antirust protection, with no problems concerning corrosion of copper and its alloys, ensuring that all components are kept perfectly lubricated and efficient, which, in turn, results in long machine life.

  6. Low foaming, which reduces rupture of the oil film, thus assuring efficient lubrication while avoiding other trouble caused by the phenomenon.

Agip ARNICA

Spesification
AGIP ARNICA oils meet the requirements of the following specifications :

  • ISO-L-HV
  • AFNOR NF E 48603 HV
  • BS 4231 HSE
  • DIN 51524 teil 3 HVLP
  • CETOP RP 91 H HV category
Description

  • The extremely high Viscosity  Index possessed by all grades of AGIP ARNICA minimizes changes in viscosity as a result of temperature variations.
  • The VI improver adopted is highly resistant to operating loads, and so there is no appreciable decrease in viscosity during service.
  • The low pour point of all grades permits use  for a wide range of applications including those where low working temperatures are encountered.
  • AGIP ARNICA oils have good thermal and oxidation stability thus ensuring long life of the oil.
  • Their high hydrolitic stability minimizes the formation of sludges in the presence of water.
  • AGIP ARNICA oils have good antiwear properties thus ensuring efficiency and long life of all moving parts of hydraulic circuits. Vanes and ring weight loss in the Vickers test is less than 48 mg. ARNICA 32 passes the 10th stage of the FZG test, while ARNICA 46 and 68 passes the 11th.
  • Their antirust properties ensure effective protection and preservation of all metallic components in the circuit.
  • They also have very good demulsibility, which facilitates spontaneous separation of any water which may become mixed with the oil.

Agip ARNICA S

Spesification

  • ILVA CRS/TCM 425
  • INLINE HYDRAULIK GMBH
  • LEDUC HYDRAULIK
  • SCHAEFF
  • VIIth Report of Luxemburg - HFDY
Description
AGIP Arnica S Series  are biodegradable synthetic fluids for use in plants particulary exposed to fire hazards on involving soil-contamination risk. They are formulated from synthetic bases composed of organic ester treated with special additive packages (ISO-L-HFDU Classification)

Agip ARNICA 104/FR

Spesification

  • AGIP ARNICA 104/FR is approved by Danieli according to Standard 0.000.001 specification
Description

  • AGIP ARNICA 104/FR is notable for its very  good combustion resistance. There is nopossibility of the product causing a fire if it comes in contact with molten or hot metals, electric sparks or naked flames in case of leakage of the fluid or rupture of the hydraulic circuit.
  • It possesses good lubricating properties, a prerequisite for efficiency and long life of lubricated moving parts in the circuit.
  • Under normal operating conditions it is noncorrosive to steel, cast iron, copper and anodized aluminium. The presence of inhibitors prevents rusting of unpainted ferrous surfaces by water or steam.
  • Its antifoam properties ensure the rapid disappearance of foam and prevent any malfunctioning of the plant due to this cause.
