SPECIALITY  GREASES

Agip Grease LP

Spesification
Description

  • The presence of EP (Extreme Pressure) additives provides a lubricating film that will with stand the mechanical stresses which occur in heavily loaded sliding bearings.
  • Their very good oxidation resistance ensures a long service life even at high temperatures.
  • Their good water-washout properties (typical value of GREASE LP 2 at 175  F is 1.5%) and adhesion permit their use even in the presence of water.
  • They provide rust protection and are noncorrosive to copper and copper alloys.
  • The greases are pumpable, so they can be used in centralized lubrication systems.

Agip Grease SM

Spesification
Description

  • The extremely pure, finely-divided molybdenum disulphide used in AGIP GREASE SM is a very good solid lubricant which adheres firmly to the surfaces concerned, filling the micro-cavities and forming a film which can perform all the necessary lubrication functions in case the grease component happens to be removed as a result of mechanical loads or thermal stresses or for other reasons.
  • The presence of molybdenum disulphide  guarantees stand-by lubrication when regreasing is impossible or if this operation happens to be delayed. It also allows long relubrication intervals due to the good stability of the grease.

Agip Grease LC

Spesification
AGIP SP GREASE LC meet the following classifications:

SP GREASE LC                                 1                                 2
ISO                                               L-X-BDHB 1                L-X-BDHB 2
DIN 51 825                                     KP 1 N -20                 KP 2 N -20
Description

  • AGIP SP GREASE LC greases have a very high dropping point, so  they are particularly suitable at elevated temperature. Due to the presence of adequate antioxidant package, the have oxidation stability and ensure unalterated lubricating properties even after a long exposure to intense mechanical loads and thermal stresses. They meet DIN 51 806 classification run A (SKF R2F 150°C).
  • AGIP SP GREASE LC posses very good antirust and antiwear properties without being aggressive to yellow metal; they adhere tenaciously to the surface to which they are applied resisting the dislodging effect of vibrations.
  • The presence of extreme pressure and antiwear additive enable this greases to form a lubricating film capable of withstanding the mechanical stresses caused by a combination of shock loading and sliding contact. The Timken test gives for these greases an OK load of 45 lbs.
  • AGIP SP GREASE LC are water resistant, so they can be used in wet environmental and in contact water.

Agip Grease AC

Spesification
According to DIN 51502, AGIP GREASE AC 1 and GREASE AC 2 are classed as KHL1R e KHL2R, respectively.
Description

  • AGIP GREASE AC greases have a very high Dropping Point, so they are particularly suitable for trouble-free use at elevated temperatures (peaking at 160°C).
  • The EP and antiwear additives enable these greases to form a lubricating film capable of withstanding the mechanical  stresses caused by a combination of shock loading and sliding conditions. In fact AGIP GREASE AC greases have a Timken OK value of 45 lb.
  • AGIP GREASE AC greases have a long useful life because the special antioxidation additive effectively counters any tendency towards deterioration during use.
  • They possess very good antirust properties without being aggressive to yellow metal, and adhere tenaciously to the surfaces to which  they are applied, resisting the dislodging effect of vibrations.
  • AGIP GREASE AC greases are water-resistant, so they can be used in wet environments and in contact with water. For instance, the Water Washout of AGIP GREASE AC 2 is about 1%.
  • AGIP GREASE AC products are pumpable, so  they can be used in centralized grease systems.

Agip Grease Sagus 60

Spesification
AGIP SAGUS 60 meets the requirements of the following classifications:

  • ISO-L-CKG
  • DIN 51826 GF 00 G-10

Description

  • The structure and particle size of the graphite used in AGIP SAGUS 60 ensures perfect lubricating action under the most severe operating conditions.
  • The solid film of graphite formed between  the lubricated surfaces guarantees correct operation of the moving parts even when mechanical loads and thermal stresses may impair the function of the lubricating grease.
  • It adheres tenaciously to metal surfaces.
  • It can be dispensed by brush or by spray in centralized lubrication systems.

Agip Grease NF

Spesification
Description

  • AGIP GREASE NF is suitable for the lubricant of plain bearings and ball and roller bearings operating at exceptionally high temperatures, which other types of grease cannot withstand.
  • Being non-fibrous, it is also suitable for the lubrication of high-speed bearings.

Agip Grease 33 FD

Spesification
Description

  • Its very high dropping point makes it particularly suitable for service at the temperatures generated during repeated and prolonged braking in the hubs of vehicles fitted with disc brakes, even when poorly cooled.
  • It has very good physical and chemical stability, and thus remains unchanged even after prolonged exposure to mechanical loads and thermal stresses.
  • It provides extremely good lubrication and wear protection for roller bearings. Its high oxidation resistance inhibits  any tendency for the grease to alter during storage and while in use.
  • It effectively prevents rust and is non-corrosive to the more delicate metals. It adheres tenaciously to working surfaces and is not readily displaced by vibration.
  • It is water-resistant and can therefore be used in moist environments and in contact with water.
